About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team in Vienna. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Java applications, leveraging your expertise in modern frameworks and architectures to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java SE/EE applications using best practices.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Work with Spring Framework and Hibernate for robust backend development.
• Manage and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate within Agile teams to deliver high-quality software on schedule.
• Utilize version control systems, primarily Git, to manage codebases effectively.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience with Java SE/EE development.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Framework and Hibernate.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Proficient in SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Proficient with version control tools, especially Git.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is €60,000 to €85,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
